The wedding really starts the night before at the rehearsal dinner. Friends and family convene to share stories about the bride and groom, eat fantasic food, and renew bonds of family and friendship.
Mike and Laura’s rehearsal dinner at The Clark House on Hayden Lake was the perfect example of this. Nestled on the bank of Hayden Lake, the Clark House was originally constructed as a private summer home for the powerful and very wealthy. Princes and presidents came to the Clark House to enjoy Hayden Lake and entertain guests from around the world.

The entire evening was very special. Cocktails were served on the veranda, and guests mingled among the well kept grounds of the mansion. I had a great time meeting Mike and Laura’s family, who were incredibly nice and easygoing. Towards the end of the evening, everyone gathered in the great hall for a slide-show about Mike and Laura’s life together. It was so much fun to be part of the excitement leading up to their wedding day.

This was a wedding straight out of a fairy tale. Broadmoor Golf Club Seattle wedding photography and the Epiphany Parish, with their classic architecture, both reminded me of Oxford, England. The beautiful plaid bridesmaid dresses were really a great touch too.
