I am excited to share some of my favorite images from Chelsea and Russell’s wedding in Eastern Washington in the tiny town of Chattaroy, WA. It was a perfectly sunny day and everything was painted in gold. Chelsea and Russell were a true delight to shoot. There was so much love in the air. I loved how everyone came together to help out and organize all the fantastic DIY elements. A great start to a new marriage.

Tara and Bret are a naturally beautiful couple . . . in many senses of the word: 1. they are both park rangers, 2. their wedding was zero-waste, 3. they incorporated elements of Mt. Rainier into their wedding with pine cones, wood rounds, and native flowers.

Tara and Bret were easy to photograph and I think their beauty really comes through in everything they do. I hope you enjoy theses and much as I do.

Last week, I photographed a very special wedding. It was special because Mount Rainier holds a dear spot in the hearts of Tara and Bret. They’re both park rangers who met on the mountain. Their wedding was full of love and thoughtful environmentally conscious details. It was a perfect day for photographs too. Although the sun didn’t exactly shine, the misty skies were breathtaking. It was the perfect day, full of wonderful moments at this intimate mountain wedding. Thanks so much for including me.

Schweitzer Mountain Wedding Photography | An Amazing Outdoor Wedding Venue

I love photographing weddings. And traveling to fantastic locations is just one of the many benefits of my job. There are some locations, however, that are truly near and dear to my heart. Sometimes, the settings are so spectacular that it’s even more special. One of those locations is Schweitzer Mountain. Schweitzer Mountain is located in Sandpoint, Idaho. It’s a place I know well. I’ve photographed dozens of weddings there. Each one is memorable. And it doesn’t seem to matter whether it’s bright and sunny or pouring rain. It’s always picturesque.
