Last weekend, I had the pleasure of photographing Laura and Cameron’s wedding. It was a gorgeous wedding where every detail was planned out and coordinated beautifully. Laura and Cameron were two of the most out-going and sweet people I have ever had the pleasure of photographing. It was so much fun to shoot them because they were always full of life and creative energy. They didn’t even bat an eye when I suggested we sneak away from everyone on a golf cart to take advantage of the gorgeous light.

The darling couple married at Hayden Lake Country Club in front of friends and family who traveled from all over the world to see them. It was a loving event where everybody had the time of their lives dancing, laughing, eating great food, and even playing a little football on the lawn by the lakeside.

When you think about a lakeside wedding, you might not immediately imagine elegance. The wedding of Ashley and Blake, however, combined the simplicity of the lakeside with opulence and elegance. Hayden Lake Country Club was a perfect spot for this wonderful pair to share their special day with family and friends. Every detail was perfectly planned and beautifully placed. Last weekend, I had the privilege of photographing Gretchen and Scott’s lakeside wedding in Priest Lake, Idaho. From the moment I met this couple, I was taken by their warmth and fun personalities. I was even more impressed by the amazing group of family and friends who obviously adored and supported them. It was an incredible wedding full of sweet moments and lots of love. Thank you both.

I’ve just returned from an incredible wedding at a private house on Priest Lake in Northern Idaho. The weather was fantastic and the couple I photographed were super fun and creative.

Schweitzer Mountain Wedding Photography | An Amazing Outdoor Wedding Venue

I love photographing weddings. And traveling to fantastic locations is just one of the many benefits of my job. There are some locations, however, that are truly near and dear to my heart. Sometimes, the settings are so spectacular that it’s even more special. One of those locations is Schweitzer Mountain. Schweitzer Mountain is located in Sandpoint, Idaho. It’s a place I know well. I’ve photographed dozens of weddings there. Each one is memorable. And it doesn’t seem to matter whether it’s bright and sunny or pouring rain. It’s always picturesque.
