Samantha and Eric | Sebago, Maine
I think my Camp O-At-Ka wedding photos really sum up what I love most about weddings: joyful, loving people, beautiful natural landscapes, and rustic environments. And of course, all night dance parties by a lake, where the groom is a musician, his musician friends are there, and the playlist is amazing. I think the night spanned everything from Prince’s Purple Rain, to old school R&B by D’Angleo. The entire wedding was held at Camp O-At-Ka, a summer camp that was founded in 1906. It is the kind of place that you think would only exist in the movies and it oozes history. I felt so lucky to shoot there.
Erich and Samantha hail from Portland, Maine, and they both love the outdoors, music, and the arts. What a great thing for two such creative and loving people to find each other in this world.
I had a great time— easily the most fun I’ve had at a wedding in years. I will let the photos do the talking from here on out. Thank you Eric and Samantha!
