Lincoln Park Pregnancy Photos | Robin
With the beautiful Summer weather here in Seattle, I look forward to spending time outside with my beautiful wife Robin. On friday, after working hard that day, I came home and said ‘we should do something outside, want to go for a walk?’ The funny thing was, Robin was thinking the same thing. And we had both thought of the same place: Lincoln Park in West Seattle. That’s what happens when you are married, you start to develop ESP. You each know what the other is thinking. It’s pretty cool

We are in the second trimester of pregnancy now, and I think Robin glows. Our walk through Lincoln Park on a warm summer night really makes me appreciate the great things in my life. I am truly lucky.

The moon was out, the beach was fairly empty and a few paddle-boarders skimmed across the glassy ocean. It was wonderful.

As the sun set, I asked Robin to stand on a weathered driftwood stump. She climbed up, turned, and I took this picture. It makes me think of the painting ‘The Birth of Venus’ showing Aphrodite emerging from the ocean in a shell.

What do you think?

Thanks Nicolle! We can’t wait. Now all we need to do is get the baby’s room in order and figure out a name. I think we try out new names every single day

What great photographs – and what a beautiful time in your lives! Thanks for letting the rest of us follow along. Kirk, we just eloped, but let us know if you guys ever make back to Southern CA – we’d love to have you for a family portrait-in-the-garden session.
Have a lovely weekend!

Your shots are so beautiful! I love that one shot that you compared with Botticelli’s Birth of Venus. It really does remind me of that painting, too!
