Tacoma Musuem of Glass and Union Station Engagement Session | Jacqui + Scott

I’d like to introduce you to Jacqui and Scott.  They are a special couple.  They are adoring. They are fun and free-spirited. They are also creative and adventurous. Jacqui and Scott met in art school about 6 years ago. Today, they are engaged and run a successful handmade paper goods company.  And, as you can see, Jacqui and Scott are fantastic models.  Not once did they seem awkward or camera shy. On the contrary, they were engaging and up for anything.  They endured the pouring rain with smiles.  Their feet froze while at the Tacoma Museum of Glass, but they never complained.  It was a fun shoot. And, personally, I like the gray skies.  Jacqui and Scott do not need a sunny day to beam.  They do that naturally.

Fabulous shots Kirk! Favorites: the first picture in front of the museum and the pictures on the train tracks.

I just love your different take on portrait photography. It is a mixture of romance and the quirky. Very refreshing.

The photograph where they are standing in the railroad tracks is incredible. I can hear the silence for miles…

Thanks Samantha. I love that photo too. It was a damp day but we all had our spirits up and we made some great photos. Jacqui and Scott are the perfect couple for that setting, and they really understood the mood of the photos we were making.

BTW your blog is really really nice. I love the nautical theme post you have up right now. It gives me some new ideas for a future shot.

I admire how you’ve produced some great photographs on what was, obviously, a very dull day! I look forward to seeing this couple’s wedding photographs.
